Where to start about my dear friend Nat? We met at college about two years ago and just sort of clicked. Since then, we’ve been collaborating creatively in various ways. I was in one of her short films, filmed one of her music videos, and now here she is on my podcast.
Nat’s episode is special for a bunch of reasons: it was my first in-person interview, we both are multi-passionate in other creative mediums, and we know the intimate details of behind the poems, to name a few. We often have conversations offline about writing and other creative topics which is why we delve into a bunch of things in her interview.
I really enjoyed our conversation and how we got the opportunity to go further in-depth on the record. I also liked asking her about her family and how they’re interwoven in her writing.
Oh and something else to mention is that her birthday is at the end of the week so this is a little birthday treat for her!
